A lightweight local print bridge runs on a machine on your network and pulls queued print jobs down to the right printer — the till, the kitchen, or a label printer — without depending on a fragile direct connection from the browser.
Because jobs are queued and drained rather than fired-and-forgotten, a momentary hiccup at the printer doesn't mean a lost ticket — it's simply picked up on the next pass.
